German maker of semi-hermetic and open-type refrigeration compressors and condensing units for stationary and mobile refrigeration and air-conditioning, including CO2, hydrocarbon and low-GWP models for commercial and industrial refrigeration, heat pumps, buses and trains. Founded in 1932 in Stuttgart, it has sites in Germany, the Czech Republic, India and China and has been part of Danfoss since 2023.
