25 years of software, engineering and continuous development
CloudAir is a Polish engineering software company built on the experience of 2M SYSTEM, founded in 2001. Over more than two decades we moved from web and interactive media into custom software, engineering applications and digital systems for technical manufacturers.
From web development to engineering software
We started in 2001 building websites and online stores. Along the way we picked up custom software, graphic design, and CRM/ERP systems for manufacturers — the kind of work that teaches you how a real engineering business actually operates.
Today we build digital product platforms for HVAC and technical manufacturers — selection software, product data management, APIs and automatically generated technical documentation. Fans, AHUs, silencers, diffusers, motors, drives, pumps and heat exchangers, hosted end to end on our own cloud platform.
Working with technical companies moved us steadily closer to product configuration and engineering calculations. That experience became CloudAir — a brand doing one thing: selection software and digital product-data systems.
Websites & online stores
2M SYSTEM starts out building e-commerce and web presence for local businesses.
Custom software, CRM & ERP
We expand into bespoke software, graphic design and CRM/ERP systems for manufacturers.
Selection software, exclusively
CloudAir is founded as our dedicated brand for selection programs and engineering applications.
Where software development meets engineering
Selection software sits between two disciplines. The interface has to be easy to use, and behind it may sit thousands of products, performance curves, technical dependencies and calculation rules.
We found that combination more interesting than building generic business applications for every industry, so we narrowed down: technical manufacturers, and the problem of turning deep product knowledge into software somebody can actually use. CloudAir became the dedicated brand for that work.
We start with the product
A fan is selected differently from a silencer. A coil is not an air handling unit. A gearbox follows different rules again. So our first question is never “what software do you want?” — it is “how does your product actually work?”
We want to know how engineers select it, how salespeople present it, what data describes it and where customers get the choice wrong. Only then does it make sense to decide how the software should behave. That order has shaped the way we work for years.
Manufacturers who work with CloudAir
Our software has been developed for manufacturers across Europe and beyond — from fan selection and product configuration to engineering calculations, technical product databases and digital tools for sales teams.
Long-term relationships matter to us
Engineering software is rarely finished on launch day. Products change, catalogs expand, standards are revised, new markets and languages appear, and customers ask for new ways to search, compare and configure.
So we prefer to build systems that can grow with the manufacturer. Several of our projects started as focused applications and became much broader platforms over the following years. That continuity is a part of the work we value.
Close enough to the project to notice the details
We work directly with our clients and their technical teams. The people discussing the product are close to the people implementing the software, so there are fewer layers between an engineering problem and whoever has to solve it.
On technical projects that matters. One detail in a performance curve, an accessory relationship or a calculation method is often worth more than a whole page of specification.
Engineering comes before presentation
Good engineering software should look professional, but appearance cannot compensate for wrong data or a wrong calculation. What we care about sits behind the interface: the operating point has to be correct, units have to convert properly, curves have to behave, compatible accessories have to stay compatible, and the documentation has to agree with the software that produced it.
The aim is to make a complex product easier to use without making the engineering behind it simplistic.
We do not build this in isolation from the industry
We exhibit at HVAC fairs, meet manufacturers on their stands and photograph the products and technologies on show across Europe. Our Expo Photos archive holds thousands of those photographs, and our free engineering tools and technical articles solve the calculation problems engineers hit every day.
It keeps us in constant contact with the market the software is built for — how manufacturers present their products, how engineers look for information, and where technical data still creates friction that nobody has bothered to remove.

Free tools and technical writing
Alongside client projects we build free engineering calculators and publish technical articles. They let us work through real engineering problems outside any one project, and they put useful calculations in front of a wider HVAC audience.
They also tell us what engineers actually search for, which calculations cause trouble and where technical information could be presented far more clearly than it usually is.
Built in Poland. Used internationally.
Our systems carry multilingual interfaces, metric and imperial units, different product structures and global customer bases. We work directly with manufacturers and their technical teams rather than through layers of account management — understanding the engineering problem is part of building the software, not a step before it.
One problem, many shapes
Our work revolves around a single question: how do you turn complex technical products and product data into useful digital systems?
Depending on the manufacturer that means selection software, product configuration, engineering calculations, product-data management, integrations or automatically generated technical documentation. The technology changes from project to project. The purpose does not — make technical products easier to manage, understand, select and sell.

A graduate of AGH University of Krakow, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics, with a Master of Science in Engineering. That education, next to more than twenty-five years in IT, is why CloudAir sits where it does — between engineering, mathematics and software.
Since founding 2M SYSTEM in 2001 he has worked across most of what digital technology covers: software development, interactive media, interface design, graphics and technical visualisation. He is also a photographer, drawn to architecture, industrial products and visual communication.
Those disciplines shaped the way he approaches a project — not as a programming task, but as a complete product in which engineering logic, data, usability and presentation all have to hold together. CloudAir is the natural result.

“Technology and engineering never stop evolving, and that constant chance to learn, experiment and improve is one of the main reasons I keep developing CloudAir. For me this is more than a business — it is what I genuinely enjoy doing.”
